I'm primarily guitar/bass. I've been at it for 3 or 4 years now, it took a piss long time to learn2musictheory and learning how to play in keys and such, but somehow on some random week, it all just suddenly made sense. I've used other instruments like a double bass and a violin...just I don't remember any bit of technique when it comes to the two, and I completely forgot where the note positions are.How do you afford all of those? ;_;

And my primary amp for all of them is a Vox Pathfinder 15R, 15W. I'm trying to get a better Vox amp like an AC30.

Fuck...
Any ways, I really want an actual Fender Stratacaster... but so expensive. Also... I'm thinking of actually buying a kit or w.e to build a guitar and shit, but I really don't know how that'll affect the sound quality of it... but I might just do it for a display piece or w.e, because this is actually what I want to do with it:
Guitar swirling (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3GxEaj7CCE#)
Those guys were pretty close to leaving that thing under for too long though lol. It's tricky cause you've got to make sure you don't move the guitar back/forth or down too fast into the paint, and then you've got to take all the excess paint off really quickly to take the guitar out. I still want to try it though.
1. Tuba (You all wish you were cool enough to play the tuba)Nice, never knew you played anything.
2. Trombone
3. Bass Guitar
that' looks so fking badass omg lolI know, right? I've seen some really cool videos of guitar swirling and stuff like that. If I do ever actually buy a guitar to be put together in parts, then I will totally swirl it with black and white like that.
How do you afford all of those? ;_;Pooled together all of my birthday and christmas money for them, and just about all of them I got are used. The gold paint is starting to run down on the pickup covers of my LP and all.
Fuck...
Swirl a grey/silver. White looks too zebraYea I agree actually... somewhat. Not sure. Might do like, grey in the white, with black.
why is everyone a bassistOh bish please, as long as you can learn sexy bass lines and throw in your own fills (and maybe using special Gheddy Lee juice), you'd be distinguished easily from the crowd.
now i feel less speshul

what if im badYoutube lessons. I haven't taken a private guitar lesson in my whole life (only taken elective guitar courses at school) and I've been coming a long pretty nicely. I've been told by multiple people I've nailed the classic Rock n' Roll shuffle and solos, all from youtube videos/hundreds of hours looking at guitar pro tabs.

I have a basic electric guitar.
Bought it at a yard sale my neighbors were having for $90.
Bought the amp from a pawn shop for a cheap $50.
I pick it up every once in a while andstrokestrum the strings. Kinda relaxing just to play basic chords on a quiet night in my room.
So I'm guessing you don't know what model it is?
It's an ion. I don't know the exact specifications/model #. I assumed that almost all guitars were the same and I grabbed an image that looked similar to mine.To fix the static you might just have to mess around with what pick-ups you use. Can help a lot. That and getting a higher quality patch cord Of course, it could also just be your amp though lol.
Here's the actual picture:

And it looks like the image for the amp disappeared:

Although, mine has a constant yet light sound of static and can have trouble turning on.

Th-th-th-that's a Stratocaster you uneducated you!!!!Stratocaster style. Not original Fender Stratocaster. Mine's a strat style too. The strat style doesn't necessarily mean it's more valuable. Just a different style with different pickups and such.

If you use the middle + bridge position, you can get something sounding like Eric Clapton.

It's kind of difficult to switch a humbucker into a strat guitar isn't it? Unless you get a special humbucker or something to fit strats... but they're a decent size bigger... so doesn't that mean you need a larger hole for the pickup? Or is just a portion of the humbuckers resting on top of the body/pickguard? If so... I may actually switch out one of my pickups for a humbucker. They can be hard to switch on your own though...
And Alkaline, you get that light hum because those are single coil pickups, common on a strat anything. You can eliminate the hum by swapping out one of them for humbuckers, which are 2 single coil pickups together in one, to give you a hard, crunchy, rock sound with the hum eliminated.
