Ah, I think I see what you're saying. Quite popular with these kinds of endings, and unoriginal as you say. And these kind of moments are a bit cheesy for me.

The whole finale was 25% show, 75% commercials so they had to squeeze in everything to get it to be at least 40 minutes long.
