Accused of aimbotting? you might get perminatly banned

I'd like you guys to review your banning process, as apparently all it takes is one player to say "aimbot" and you can get banned with no proof. The original server (i mean G4P) had a great system where the only way you'd ban someone permanently is if more than 1 admin agreed and there was proof in the form of a demo, the only exception to this was name changers and really obvious hackers. It seems like a great community although a little immature at times.

I think you may be stretching the truth there.

Nobody can get banned without solid proof. If suspicion is high enough then admins and vips look into it further.
As I understand you were banned for saying you had aimbots and would use them.
that alone can be considered a confession and can be used to ban.

If you look at our reports section you can see there are guidelines to follow in order to submit a proper report.
Any report not following or supplying the needed details are binned / ignored / informed of the missing information.

banning ingame is a slightly different story.
usually the players are banned on the spot or have their id and name taken down for future referance.
Any appeals can be made on the forum.

(JBanned) .:RND`=- DJ myppl8: if i eva become supa admin id ban moo and make hima guest

Note to self: Do not joke about aimbots. Again.
I have avatars and signatures disabled. There is no reason to judge people here by anything other than what they post.

It's quite simple to make an appeal.

IF there are issues with the system for reporting/banning though, which I doubt myself, then it'd be even simpler to fix them insead of telling those who feel wronged to make an appeal - which they should di either way.

There are not issues. Admins ban you for what they see you doing wrong. Appeals are made, problems discussed, moving along.

An aimbot? In MY garrysmod folder?

It could be more likely than you think.

I'm not deliberately trying to be stupid, I'm just commenting on how unbelievably pointless this thread is.

Right on mate. If people are getting banned, proof should be provided. People shouldn't be banned for suspections. Proof MUST be provided!

No...
Proof is provided for reports... admins aren't going to record and get proof for every damn person they ban. They're the ones who have ban privileges for a reason. Not to make reports.

Still... Quite a few people get banned for things they didn't do, they appeal and are denied. At least a screenshot or demo should be taken prior to somebodies ban. It's easy to get proof on an "Aimbotter"
I'm just saying that things should be carefully looked into before making accusations... Doesn't banning 7 people within 15 minutes seem SOMEWHAT wierd at all???

It is fucking weird.
By the way, your "wierd" spelling wrong.  :P
They denied the appeals without giving us a good reason, seem like they are hiding something from us.
