Perfectly straight props in Stronghold

I'm just wondering because frankly I cannot figure this one thing out. How are you guys making such elegant, such perfectly aligned props connecting so seemingly with out effort! Seriously! I was watching one of my replays and this guy just kept running and was placing such perfectly props that connecting to each other like it was one giant prop. I don't know if this is some mod but I would REALLY like to indulge myself in this knowledge.

Much appreciated.

I think he means putting it like when we make ramps.

Press R and switch modes using right-click. Pressing R causes it to say (Left, Right, Down, Up) one of those and you can switch with right-click. Usually to make them side-by-side it's left or right. Just look at the ghosted model and you should see.
