I want to get into TF2 (bought it when it actually cost like 40$ >>) but I really don't have anything so I usually run into being outgunned and such. I usually play Pyro with flare gun (really good shot imo), scout with bow and sometimes sniper based on the map.
So how exactly do you get savaged metal and crafting materials quickly? I play for like 4-5 hours and about 10% of the time get enough items to break down and get 1 savaged metal. and recently I got a storage chest thing but I don't have a key to open it.

Old crates have stopped dropping. Therefore, as supply stays the same, demand will slowly go up, and the price goes up gradually.
OLDER crates have stopped dropping for a long time, and the price is already high.
tl;dr new crates are either not worth anything, or rapidly declining in value.

You buy a crate key at the TF2 shop and when you open the crates you get a chance to find some random weapon or the other "rare" weapon find from the crate.

Crates are...a gamble to say the least.
You have a chance to get whatever is in the list. Weapons on that list are awarded as "strange". They typically have the higher chances. There is about a 1% chance of getting an unusual effect hat.

Dude. Your backback isn't even CLOSE to Arma 2. All you have is a bunch of weapons, a strange GRU, and two hats, 1 misc, and 2 halloween items. No one is going to give you even a dirt cheap game for that. If you had unusuals, keys, earbuds, Max severed head, or Bill's Hat, etc, THEN you would have a chance at getting good games
