Okay, so I'm writing this using my battery life.
My laptop is six years old, and has gradually gotten worse, up to the point the metal on the power connector started melting.
I have no idea why it's doing this, but it's to the point the laptop is beyond repair.
So out of pure insanity, I MacGyver'd a temporary fix out of electrical tape, a soldering iron, and some metal.
I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THIS SHIT WILL LAST ME. IT WILL WEAR OFF EVENTUALLY.
So until further notice, I won't be able to steam;skype;ts3;garrysmod.
I'll stay alive for the next 3 hours or so, maybe longer depending when Ben wants to blow my computer up.
Oh, yeah, and I had to type this all one-handed because the other one is holding the electrical connector in place.

At least I'm not loosing battery life now, but anything that uses a shitton of ram is out of the way.

@Bipolar - I'm on TS3 right now if you need to ask me something.
Really, it's only gonna charge for the duration the connector decides to stay in place.
Fucking Don telling Ben to crash my laptop ;_;
Lol WOW DEATHWARD.
How did you DO this. I mean... seriously.
The most I've ever fucked up a computer was accidentally breaking the contact points off of a USB drive... but this??
WOW.
You could just take apart the laptop, find the contact points that the charger go to, and reconnect the contact points of the charger to those. It's FOOL PROOF! :trollface:
