Okay so I've wanted to make some sort of comic illustration for people for awhile because it's really something I enjoy, but I could never figure out when would be a good time to do it, and I finally just realized there will never really be a good time to do it I guess, lol. So anyways, I was in a skype call with some people yesterday and they recommended the comic be about this so here it is:

Also I am just about finished coloring in the 2nd page, I have 4 pages so far. Pallet town will make up the prologue. There are still some slots open for people to take and also, I will be making a poll once the slots are all filled for who should be the first gym leader to go. I was originally going to put it in the usual order "Rock, water, electric,etc" but I decided this might be more interesting and involved. Any ideas for the comic are completely considered, and are greatly appreciated; this is not just something I am creating, but something for the whole community. :)

I see what Seb means, someone pointed it out to me last night. The curve is just from his coat, it's not his actual arm lol. Also do keep in mind, I stated in the OP that I am trying to strictly do this in the Pokèmon style, so if lack of detail in things bothers you, I apologize. Trust me it's not my favorite style to draw in, but it's interesting for me to draw none the less.

Hey look this comic isn't dead yet since I've actually been working on it.

I am going to be posting up profiles in a bit to show everyone the new designs for leaders and such. Also, I mean no offense to you Rocket, however since I was not given a descriptive enough outline for you, and I do not know you well enough to put together a personality for you; I'd rather just move you to a random trainer than keep you as one of the 8 gym leaders. I don't want there to be some made up character as one of the leaders with your name, when I want this to be a community thing. So there is one open slot for the gym leaders. The available elements are:
Normal type
Ice type
Fighting type
Ground type
Flying type
Bug type
Ghost type
Dragon type
Dark type
Steel type

It'd be nice if I could get someone by tonight, so I can post up the profiles.


Thank you all for your cooperation, hopefully I can get past this one page I need to get out, without it crashing, since I've had to redo 3 times now.

I also added a new slot, which is the nurse slot. You do not have to be a female to be in this slot, unless you want to be feminized, which is fine by me.

Okay so I have a question for you guys. I've finally finished all the pages of the prologue and starting in the first part is a battle. I was going to just draw everything out, but I thought of a cooler way to represent the battles. I could make an animation for each of them just like they were in a Pokemon game. This would actually be simpler than drawing everything out since, Pokemon sprites are already made, and all I'd have to do is make the trainer sprites. It would also be cool if anyone could provide some custom music, otherwise I will probably use the battle music from one of the games which will also be decided on if you all like the idea.

The Pokemon used here were the Pokemon i used mainly during generations 3-4, with me finding a shiny ghastly by chance in my Pokemon platinum.
