SVN TUTORIAL

okay text now, friggin whinin bitches xD
1. GO TO GOOGLE(www.google.com)
2. GOOGLE TORTOISE SVN
3. DOWNLOAD TORTOISE SVN
4. INSTALL TORTOISE SVN
5. COPY THIS LINK http://wiki.garrysmod.com/?title=SVN_Links
6. PASTE THE LINK TO ADDRESS BAR
7. PRESS ENTER
8. FIND THE SVN U WANT
9. COPY THE LINK OF THE SVN!
10. GO TO YOUR /steam/steamapps/*ur account*/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons folder
11. MAKE A NEW FOLDER, NAME IT THE NAME OF THE ADDON U GONNA DL(not neccesary)
12. RIGHT CLICK ON THE FOLDER
13. SELECT SVN CHECKOUT
14. FILL IN THE ONLY LINK SPOT WITH THE LINK
15. PRESS OK
16. WAIT FOR DOWNLOAD TO STOP
17. PRESS OK
18. GO PLAY ON RND SERVERS!

Don't forget there are some exceptions like wiremod.
Do this so you don't need to copy and paste when it is finished downloading.

https://wiremod.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/wiremod/trunk/

You right click your addons folder paste link into URL of repository.
In checkout directory it'll say something like

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[your username]\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons\wiremod

Delete the wiremod at the end so it looks like

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[your username]\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons

Click OK/Yes to the rest of the prompts, when it is finished with download, delete the .svn folder in your addons folder (it a hidden folder btw).
In the end, it adds 4 folders

Adv Duplicator/
lua/
wire/
wire model pack 1/

and 2 files

LICENSE
info.txt

to your addons folder, you can delete the two files.

Not that I need to use this tutorial but i think it would be much better is you included the links to the web pages instead of just showing them. Also maybe put some text on the screen telling what you are doing because for someone that has never done it before will be like "wtf?!?!" Or you could just use a microphone.

xD i finally fucked stuff up by putting the fontsize ALOT bigger dan normal, had a pain in the ass to record the screen xD, fraps doesent record the plain screen,, only games

BTW U SILLY PERSON, I UPDATED NOW(it takes a second for meh xD) AND THE LUA IS THAT U INSTALLED WIREMOD FALSLY, COPY PASTE THE WIRE, WIRE MODEL PACK, AND ADV DUPLICATOR TO THE FRIGGIN  ADDONS FOLDER

Too lazy to switch to Windows 7 yet lol (I do have it on another hard drive though)
and I wrote that as a kind of addition to your tutorial.
No need to copy and paste when finished dl  :)

Well, first it's an alternative.

You can post about troubles in help and get support for them.

This might be able to help others as well.

Other than that, I haven't really received any negative feedback since the release.

This might be because not many use it right now..
