Unable to start gmod OMFGHALP

I thought maybe u guys could help. When i try to start gmod i get an error message from ati vpu recovery. My graphics accerlerator has been reset, thats what it says. Sometimes i can start gmod but the chance is really small. I have this problem since yesterday. Oh and i get weird colours when its crashing. Hopefully somebody can help me with this.

Basically you are having issues somewhere with the GPU, could be drivers. The VPU recovery console does what it does to stop the system crashing or freezing.
someone i know had it keep coming up before and tried just installing the display drivers not the CCC and then running ATI Tray Tools which has more control than the CCC anyway. That worked.

It's the same issue that the nvidia drivers handle.

When your graphics card is unstable, it prevents the entire system from becoming unstable.

Not enough information to really give too much incite.

I don't have more info to give you, really. But i found out i have the same issue with css. The graphics card is an ati radeon 9200.
I'll try what tomcat said. I'll keep you updated.

Uhm, yeah. My computer died. When i turn it on nothing happens, only the cpu and psu fans spin. No beep, no led, not even harddrive activity.
I tried using a minimal config by using only 1 stick of ram and only the necessarily parts hooked up. Still no sign of life.

Well, does your HDD LED stay completely lit or any other wierd behavior.

Looks like cpu or mobo issue.

Nope, nothing happens. I can't even turn off the computer with the button, i have to pull the cable out of the psu. I put my HDD in another computer and that works great, so that's not the problem i think.

Oh, I just saw my dvd burner light stays completely lit, my primary dvd player light doesnt burn.

But i tried another psu, although i had this problem before with another pc and the spare psu. Shiz i need another psu maybe. Does the power matter just for testing?

I meant for just to see if it runs. But i know now it's not the PSU, maybe it's the CPU. And yeah i put my old hd in another computer.
