laptop adaptor

i always get a message "ac power adaptor type cannot be determinded. your system will operate slower and the battery will not charge. please connect a dell 230W AC adapter or higher for system operation"

any way to fix this mahself without sending to dell(which will take 3 weeks wow)

im running @ 593MHZ
