Devie, the reason why we're not nice to newbies like that is simply because the information is RIGHT UP THERE.
There are multiple Stickies in both the Introduce yourself AND Admin App section that tell you HOW to get respected and WHEN to apply for admin. And by just looking at other topics, you can also find out what to do and what not to do.

Before i even applied to be respected i read all the info threads and other apps to get an idea of how it should be done. What Shawn is trying to say is that you can just look shit up before posting on it. It is not a stupidity issue, it is more of a common sense issue.
