drunken f00l made Prop Hunt, SourceOP and tf2items.com. He got the times of the Golden Wrench drops leaked from Valve, and they VAC banned him for using a 3rd party tool to craft at the right time.

I got all the new weps already.
I gotta say, the wringler is kinda overpowered with your Lvl3 Sentry.
And the new shotgun SUCKS!

I thought custom community weapons could only be given to ppl who made maps or coding for tf2. In this case the gold wrench appears to be given to someone who hit the craft - it button at the exact right moment.

Lolno.
Even though Valve said the Golden Wrenches would be found randomly, it was all pre-set. You knew the times, you got the Wrench, simple as that. At least the first 66 (and this was pretty much confirmed) got their Golden Wrenches like that.
It was just lame, from Valve and from the Community.
