Actually, IP bans are pretty useless too. Most people can just restart their router to get a new IP, that's how all these "hackers" evaded the old kick/ban system.
OHMYGODISPOILEDSOMETHING

IP bans cant to shit

Even if the Doser doesnt restart the router

You see this is how it goes

1. Idiot floods connection by sending over 1000 packets
2. They travel to The server
3. The packets have to be dropped somewhere so they drop on the connections line aka they still make lag even if you IP ban them they still need to drop them

The only way to reduce lag is to reroute packets to a other server. (4chan LOL)

Coolz will not do that so he cant really do shit about it. Even if he range-bans the ip.

And btw some hackers have static ips (I do)
So they cant change their ip so easy lol.

this is true although you could have them routed to a unused ftp server or something along thos like. Hell it might even be possible to ping them back to the doser....

1000 packets from a home connection, sure but its going to kill the rest of their bandwidth. Now say a VPN with a 100mbps speed, thats heavy.

of course I don't have one or use it to fubar certain UK zps server who banned me no reason after playing there for over a year..... trollface.jpg
