Its not the keyboard. Its gmod. Im not really sure whats the main cause. But happend to me in the past. Switched keyboard same.
HDD failed so i when i got the new one and got gmod back up it worked.

is it certain keys or just randomly cuts off while typing?
could be a short in the wire from keyboard to pc.
WIRELESS FTW
or your too weak to press the keys in LOL j/k

It can't e be that the keyboard isn't working because it works fine for anything else. Just when I'm typing on something sometimes it doesn't type anymore but still works on the program as long as it has nothing to do with text.
