Lucid Dreaming
« on: April 30, 2010, 02:20:35 PM »
Hey everybody, I have just found a thing called Lucid Dreaming, or in short - LD.
LD is a dream where you control everything in the dream, you make yourself fly, you breath underwater, explore the world and more.
Here's a site about it: Click here

I'm going to try it today cause it sound epic, I'm also hearing some sounds here that are supposed to help me be Lucid in my dream, I got the sounds from here, each sound has a description of what it does.

Post here if you have any experience with LD, if you are trying/tried LD, or you just think it's cool =D

hey dude i once did some research into lucid dreams just lettin you know the easiest way to access a lucid dream is to slightly wake up in the middle of the night just enough to KNOW your awake but NOT opening your eyes than just try to go back to sleep if all goes well you should be able to recognize that you are in a dream and tap into a lucid state (at least thats what works for meh xD) but yea these types of dreams a great dude well gl with your ld's =D

Oh that's awesome, and yeah I read about that way to become Lucid, I might try it =D
Good thing I don't have school tomorrow so I don't mind losing some sleeping time =P

Awesome =D
I once had a dream where I was half Lucid, I knew I was dreaming, I controlled my thoughts and everything, but I didn't do whatever I want and didn't start flying or anything =\

actually i have done a lot of research on this subject because i thought it would be a really fun thing to do.
Basically what i found out is that you have to keep a log of your dreams because you have to be able to recall your dreams or you won't be able to remember if you had a lucid dream or not.
One strategy that made the most sense to me was writing something on your hand like a D, then constantly check it throughout the day so it becomes a habit, then once in your dream you might check it and it will be a different letter or it might be blurred hence you know you are dreaming.

130 kills, or something around that.

Nice...I might try it...I tried this night to be Lucid, but for some reason my dream was very blurred and it was extremely short, usually I have long, vivid dreams which, most probably, are very easy to control =\
I'll try again today =D
