I believe this is what originally happened.. although I can't verify this lol.

Some friends were interested in the sandbox concept on the source engine.

found it on steam, when i was playin hl2, gmod 9 was a free mod then :-)

I watched some Garry's Mod movies,
Example: Gman Squad, kitty0706(person), lit fused(person)
and i thought it would be cool if i try the game.

Searched for a cool game to play on steam, and I found gmod 9, but it was gmod 10 so 9 wasn't available, so I found Ticarex gmod and then cracked steam and now I have what I have xD
