GTX295 has 1.75GB but Radeon 5970 has 2GB and beats your card =D
But I prefer having a 8800 GT then this card =\

It's on your mobo and shares your ram in your system.. that's why you think you have more ram then others.

This degrades a computer system's performance with 3d applications and etc.

A dedicated graphics card has it's own memory and does not share with the system.

Oh, and graphics memory is not the only aspect of a graphics card performance! (clock/mem frequency, processors (shaders, etc) )
