I think you could just download the latest version of xp installation cd online in iso and burn it to a blank cd so you can skip all the updates lol. and umm I would help but I'm more visual when it comes 2 solving problems.

It was college money that I get for going lol, I NEEDED IT FO MY CLASSES XD.

How much are u willing to spend? If not much you'd probably be better off just buying some parts to the pc you have that its low in like ram or memory or video card or something. If its over 2000 I'd try dell.com or custom build one.

I thought I'd bring my though on this time machine thread. Lets say scientists have discovered a way to create a time machine that anyone can afford but would take 20yrs to have the product perfected and on the product line. Now you'd probably tell yourself you would visit your past self to give yourself a time machine, now that wouldn't be possible if something occurred between those 20 yrs that would prevent you from doing so right?

So what I'm getting at is, what if something happened to the world before the time machine was created like the death of the human race. Would make it kinda hard to travel back in time if your dead before the technology was created. So possibility 2012 could be the end of the world that would stop the time machine in it's tracks. Just a different view on the situation.
