It'd be nice though to just click the topic and find recent news instead of scrolling page after page in discussion.

See, that's what he's getting at. He doesn't want the Discussion board filled with news articles. I think a sub-forum would be great a great place to host a News section

I don't want to seem like a dick, but your posting WAYY too much news articles. And there's often interesting threads that aren't related with every day news that are interesting.

I'd like to see a sub forum just to see a couple of news articles that might be interesting.

Posts in discussion are.. events, things that happen, essentially news. While they might not be from "official" news networks, sites, or w/e, I think that's the entire purpose of discussion.. to discuss events whatever they be.
