Do you think a zombie outbreak can happen and if so, what would you do?

there are about 3 wind farms and nuke power plants in Wisconsin and a shit ton of woods. One summer I camped around 3 weeks living off the land except a tent

Also winters aren't that bad here (-20F) at the lowest compaired to (-60F) in alaska

well those plants would go offline most likely, from lack of ppl to man them which could lead to a nuclear reactor failure which would poison the water.

as for wind power.. that would prob help us for another 30 years they they would breakdown

nuclear reactors dont just shut off, you have to remove the radioactive cores, and with no water being pumped into the reactor by personal then it would pull a hiroshima and at the least making everything around you radioactive, similar to fukishima or cherynobel

but like fucking say the reactors are controlled by the damn government ( wouldn't be that hard to secure a small power plant)  and also half of them are by themselves with houses 50 miles away from them and about 5 miles offshore(water is pumped to the plant to prevent any contamination if there was a melt down.

Well if a zombie outbreak did happen and even if they were as beastly as they were in I am Legend, I'm sure that anyone with armor guns and ammo would have no problem killing them. 
Now shows with slow and weak zombies that supposedly take over the world, like The Walking Dead are just funny :d

Anyways assuming they have lion-like agility and are immune to most bullets, I'd use some construction parts from maybe home depot in a city to fortify a place of my choosing, maybe a skyscraper?  Then I'd haul in enough canned food from the local food places to last me years and years.  Also I'd stock up from the gunshops in town.  No point in going out to the country.

my theory is, the zombie virus is a lot like the rabies virus. which takes time to reach the brain before it takes over, turning your body it a puppet to spread the virus.
