We use a multiverse plugin. You know how in singleplayer, hardcore survival mode, right? Where if you die, the world is deleted?
I want to have a way to have a "universe" (world) be pure survival. No essentials, nothing. And if you die, you are no longer allowed into said world.
Until we reset worlds, which could be like, every sunday night.

Well, it's just I don't want to have to continue to redo everything every week.

I like the idea a lot, having to wait if you die and all. It's just that restarting every week part..

When you die, every block you've ever edited is regenerated.

Or perhaps every block you've created. So holes and stuff can stay, but chests and buildings don't.

That will just look weird in the world. If you lose destroyed and creative blocks, the world will just look like it was before you built anything there.

But this gives you a reason to come back. Once  you get kicked for dying you're stuck outside of survival until we reset
