Me and Deacon were thinking about converting it over to a PVP server.
Essentially, these would be the changes that would happen.
- A brand new map (old one will still be available for download via webserver)
- Everyone will spawn in a PVP and Mob protected city, and on joining, you'll be given a free plot of land in the city.
- Only YOU will have access to that plot of land (and anyone else in your faction).
- Factions will only serve as a way to give people access to your house and communication. Power and claiming land will be removed.
- Anything OUTSIDE THE MAIN CITY will be entirely free game. There would be no rules, aside from "no hacking". It'd essentially be vanilla outside the city.
I wanted to get your opinions on this first though. I plan to have the city devided into a few different districts,
- Player housing (plots)
- Faction HQ's (larger plots of land in the city, req. a faction of at least 4 people to get one)
- Shops (player run and admin run shops, using in-game economy)
Anyways, I wanted to see if you guys would like this idea. Considering our small playerbase, I think it'd work great to have everyone mostly centralized in one city as opposed to entirely separate nations. People can still go to war with each other, you can still set up bases outside the city, and anything outside the city is pretty much vanilla.
