We play CS 1.6 and Halo CE on the computers.

The teacher lets me run a dedicated server in the back room.

After school some of the freshmen hold Halo CE tournaments in the library, even though it's against the rules. A security guard was fired last week for playing with them instead of confiscating the USBs.

EDIT: In middle school, me and a friend snuck into the library and changed the background of every computer to this: in all it's stretched glory.

At my highschool they restrict everything. You cant even change the desktop settings or move icons. Its ghay

Here you can't right-click. Only in programs. I don't know why.

9th grade I played around with command prompt and would print-screen and desktop image it hide the icons and taskbar on ALL the computers in class.

10th grade I place a porn link in the startup folder (since the computers didn't clear content when logged out) when class was almost over on a random computer when the teacher would leave.

11th grade I was a favored student, I actually got to take the computers apart in class and look at the insides and see what they had If I remember correctly I believe they had 1gb ram 100gb HD and built-in graphics and got to use the can of air to clean them out and get automatic A for that day of work. Started to get those crappy mac's and never used them.

12th grade I straightened up

What are some things you can do with cmd prompt?
I'm trying to learn my way around with cmd prompt while I learn C++, and really I just want to amaze pople with basic things that look complicated.

Senior year of high school, I fiddled with the school computer.

You see, they blocked the execution of your own programs, use of command prompt, right clicking outside of apps for the most part, internet filtering too.

They did not, however, block the execution of batch scripts.  That is, they didn't until I got finished with them.

One day in my computer programming class we had a sub who basically let us do anything.  I had read about using a batch script to essentially get back control of the command prompt.  So, I whipped it up, ran it, and voila!  So then, I had me a little fun, and went to send a net send message to everyone else in the class.  Being that they jacked around a lot, calling them boobs would suffice.  Stupid me, I fucked up the syntax, and the message ["boobs"] was sent not to everyone in the lab, but to every on computer in the middle/high school.   :)) :)) :)) :))  I was found out, later brought to the assistant principal by a computer teacher whom was using an overhead projector/smart board to teach a class of 6th graders as it happened.  Turns out the assistant principal was meeting with a parent when it happened too.

Being me, I was still able to go to school functions, was only not allowed to use a school computer without supervision for a week [pfft :P], and couldn't talk about it, but by now just about everyone in the small-assed middle/high school I went to found out about it.

I later found out that I had knocked out the internet filtering at the same time as I accessed the prompt.

stole the mouse.

When I was younger I stole the mouse balls when they had it.

I think it was one day where I was sick of everyone copying off of me in computer class. So I uploaded my work onto the public folder which everyone can access. But somewhere in the huge wall of research information I've typed, I wrote "This is a stolen copy from [Name here]. Please be discreet about this as Id like to keep this a personal matter between you and me. I know for a fact that NON of these people in this class will read this". I announced to everyone to copy+paste it onto their crap so they dont have to look over. Teacher saw it and talked to me in private lol.

Everyone got in trouble. The teachers excuse was "everything you did was logged onto the computer. Thats how I found out"

What does this do?
I don't want it to do something like kill the computer and get expelled, lol

And while I was playing with cmd, I learned a bit with what Travel was talking about. If I can figure out how to do it, I'm going to try to redo what he did.
