youtube is black

the little window where the movie pops up is completely black.

For some reason watching the movie on the profile page works but in the default player its just blank, no play buttons or anything.

This appears to only occur to chrome as IE8 and Firefox 8.0 are both fine.

Ive searched around for no good solutions so I was wondering maybe someone here would know what the problem is. I have a lot of bookmakrs and stuff on chrome so its a bit of a hassle to switch between firefox and chrome constantly.
