TTT style voting system for ZS?

I think it would be a good idea if we implemented a TTT style mapvote system for ZS.

Why?

Welp, this past week, it seems like a number of people especially took a strong affinity to picking, whenever the choice was available, 1 of the SAME 5 FUCKING MAPS OVER AND OVER.  Checkpoint, Infected Hospital, Feartower, Inversion, Office.

It's gotten so bad that in those rare instances [in the scope of a single day] that a deathmap comes up, it is picked less than it usually is.   It **FELT** like I must have played, in this past weekend alone, Checkpoint and Maze at least 5 6 - 8 times each in a single day.  Sometimes reaction to the continual picking of the same maps has received hostile feedback from others - though most often it is acknowledged to be a pain in the ass from 1- 3 others.

Even though it may not be perfect, somehow my gut tells me that the TTT style is at least able to sorta alleviate this to some extent.

I LIKE those maps, I HATE that the last week ZS seems to have ben infected by even less of a variety in map picking than what we USUALLY see - it felt like up until last week there was more variety.

AFIAK, I don't think it's possible, since TTT is based off of fretta, and ZS is off base.

And I think a system is already in place so people can't vote for recently played maps :v

AFIAK, I don't think it's possible, since TTT is based off of fretta, and ZS is off base.

And I think a system is already in place so people can't vote for recently played maps :v

Doesn't seem to be as strong as it should be - as in, doesn't keep maps off limits long enough.

If this can't be done is it possible to make the maps list in alphabetical order? Most of the time i don't have time to vote because i spend it all looking for the map i want.

I think putting it in chronological order -  meaning newest maps up top, oldest bottom - that way people could try out the new maps. If they don't like it, they'll know the name of the map they liked originally.

Either add time || add two columns: one alpahbetical, the other chrono.

Disable votemap and put a "randomly picks a map" thingy instead. Problem solved.

I can easily increase the amount if need be.

It does seem to be a problem when a map seems to be favored over others.

Another thing would be maybe a dynamic script? The most played maps take longer to be played again, while the ones that had been voted less times will show up again sooner?

I can see something based on played count as well a possibility however increasing the number to .. 8 would be quicker and accomplish what's wanted here.

Should be effective next map change :)

times played * 0.1 then round up and that's how many games you have to wait (min of 5 games though)
