Thanks for the thought though, I'm not in any danger nor is my family. The current city I live in is as far away from the ocean as Idaho is
My dad and brother were just out in the Bering Sea fishing, however they finished their season 3 weeks ago and have been down at my home for around 2 weeks.

I understand that this storm is larger than most, but I think the real reason some people are worried is its going to hit land a bit harder than usual. That and there probably was a lack of other news around.

My dad has regularly been out in our boat in 30-40 foot seas and  wind gusts up to 100mph.

We get storms in the Bering of a comparable magnitude regular. They just never seem to get the same amount of press as the Atlantic hurricanes, despite being of compatible intensity.

Just a question but do you ever fish with them?

I just heard something about sustained winds of 80-100 mph. Are you saying this is a usual thing? .-.
