Since the 7000 series are coming out in 2012 should I just wait or just buy the desktop now?

6870 is a beautiful card.
I wouldnt w8 if you buying mainstream stuff.
Even if you do, it wont be worth while cause technology goes so fast.
You wont be dissapoint.

6870 is beast, wouldn't be worth waiting for 7000 series.

Much more worth it if you get the 6870. Seriously, I've built my friend's computer with that card and it can take on some serious shit.

One thing. Is the AMD HD 6770 good too? What about the Nvidia GTX 560?

The 6770 is nowhere near as good as 6870. The 560 is probably better then the 6870
