Well, after a long period of discouragement from coding, I'm gonna seriously try.
After watching some of the videos that general posted, (I've gotten up to variables), I realised how simple some of it is.
My first goal with coding is to create a program for tracking game reports.
As a referee, in order to advance to an 07 (currently an 08), I need to be atleast 17 (I believe this rule is bendable) as well as proof that I've refereed atleast 100 games.
The program will include team names, (both home and away), referees (center, AR1, AR2), date, time, and scores as well as any cards given along with an explanation.
Based on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being very difficult, how hard do you think this will be?
I'm assuming pretty easy, but I haven't learned much of C++ to say anything.
*I'm going to go to Barnes and Noble in the morning to get some books for coding, so I should be set. If I do have any question's, I'm going to ask them here.
Just one thing that I need to ask. I don't want coding to be a big part of my life. I just want to have it as a hobby; that way I can create programs to help myself, show off to friends, or even help you guys out eventually. will trying to learn coding require a lot of my time? Seems stupid, but I'm not sure.
