Don't get me wrong, it's okay by a childrens cartoon standards (Comparing the show to something you'd see on Qubo or early in the morning on like Disney, CN, or Nick), it's just in a whole other level as other cartoons.

Lets analyze why people think the show is good. Most bronies say they watch it for one or more of the following reasons: the animation, the characters, and the writing.

The Animation is > okay <, it's just flash. I've seen authors who can make something just as good on newgrounds, yet MLP has a studio of monkeys working on it. It's not horrible, and it's a serious improvement from most of CN's other flash-based shows.

The Characters are typical clichés. I could compare then to other characters from other TV shows (Mostly ones pre-90's).

The writing? It's like trying to explain why Dora's writing is ass due to the fact she has the compulsion to repeat everything over and over again as if her audience is full of kids with ADD. There would be no reason to explain why MLP's writing is bad. It's barely even that. Writing.

Also, some stuff I noticed as well.


Twilight's legs get broken. (which is fatal to a horse)
They are healed 2 scenes later.

Zacora's bracelets switch from leg to leg.

Rainbow Dash's upside-down wings get healed just before she takes the cure.
