do you use the same account in which you own gmod for dead island via greenluma ? if yes than do not do this as it may get your account with gmod in it banned , always use a new account for cracked games.
anyway a similar problem occurred with my steam account, my karma wouldn't get saved and would reset to 850 after every map. maybe a problem with the steam id :I ? so how i fixed this was by reinstalling steam
(not your steam apps folder back them up before doing this and restore once your done) and logging out and than in before starting gmod. After this short process my karma got saved like it should have in the first place.

I want to try it, but i can't...
It's because my internet has reached its limit and now the speed is as slow as !@%!
gotta wait 5 more days until my internet resets itself

seriously?? what are the chances of getting ban?? I played f.e.a.r. 3 without fear of banning lol.
and I'll try reinstalling steam next time because with my shitty internet now, i can't even login to steam....
i wanna try to join other servers b4 reinstalling steam

you should seriously consider making a new account for cracked games anyway i sent you a pm containing a link to a guide for handling both cracked and legit steam which i think is very helpful , do read it if you dont want to get banned.
