Option to delete threads you make?

Kinda self-explanitory. Sometimes an OP is fucked up or a thread has turned into dildos, so why ask for a bin when you could just baleet it yourself?

i would say only for threads with no replies.

otherwise, you'll be ruining other's discussions. even if they've hijacked your thread

Or, even better an option to delete posts you made.

I've encountered threads before that says
"nevermind"
and the body in it says "nevermind figured it out"

When it comes to something around that situation I'm up for it
but if it turned into a "lol OP you are wrong and the rest of us are explaining why you are as a discussion" and OP is like "nope nope nope noope" then idk.

give the option to delete consecutive posts on your own.

What's the point? I say just any post we make within a set time limit.

I've made a few major blunders, I'm using an example on another server form.

Pretty much the thread had turned into everyone saying OP is wrong, several times and it would keep getting bumped. Eventually the OP figured he could delete the thread and the five pages of the same thing stopped.

It would also be great if I had the option to delete duplicate posts, as apparently there can be major consequences or something from doing that accidentally. Say I make that mistake right before I have to go off and do someting and I come back to it three days later to discover it.
I have avatars and signatures disabled. There is no reason to judge people here by anything other than what they post.
