It automaticly asks me if i want to do this when I put a USB drive in.

I also have a port for an (SST? SSB?) drive on my computer. My computer kicks ass.

You can, but real RAM is traditionally faster (data transfer wise) than flash memory inside of a USB stick. So it's average if you're in a pinch.
You must assimilate into our culture of diversity.

I would recommend setting up a different desktop computer on your network to run minecraft.
That way your whole PC is not doing everything and getting raped.

I have a bunch of half-useless, old family PCs lying around that I set up for dedicated servers sometimes.
(Be sure to limit your upload and download limits on your router so you and your server are in equilibrium.)

Will Reed's will will read "Will Reed will read Will Reed's will"

RAM is Random Access Memory
It is information that is stored to provide fast access. The higher the RAM = the more information availible, the faster the RAM = the faster your computer can get to that information.
So it would probably help alot in MC, it just wouldn't be as fast as if you had good RAM by default.

I don't know how much good a 16GB flashdrive would do you, but if you save up you can prob get one for $20.
