Sorry to say. Coming across old memorabilia that your hat and steel cross are replicas..The gas mask possibly is real. would have to acually look at it better to determine it as well as your eagle medal looks real as well..
That modern era camo steel re-enforced helm is pretty cool.. whats the date on it.. 1990's?
So, as you may or may not know, I have a small collection of militaria. I would like to show you guys what I own, and possibly see anyone else's, if they have any.First things first, my pickelhaube. This leather helmet was used from the mid-1800's to 1916, when it was deemed unsuitable for modern combat and replaced with the stahlhelm. It consisted of a leather shell, a ceremonial spike, and an emblem dependent on which state of Germany the helm belonged to. A fun fact: The Nazis never used it, contrary to popular belief. Now, my 1914 Iron Cross, 2nd Class.frontbackThis is basically the equivelant to the Medal of Honor, or the Victoria's Cross. Many have been awarded, and the emblem is still used by the German armed forces. My 1950's era M51 Belgian gas mask.I don't know what to say. It's a gas mask.My dad's aviation medal. This is my most prized possesion. It was earned by my father while he was serving in Afghanistan. I'm not sure what it is exactly, so if anyone knows, please tell me.Well, that's it. I hope you enjoy this little presentation of history!
