If you're a friend of mine then you'll now that my name, Cariad(cah - ree - add) is Welsh for Sweetheart/Girlfriend/Darling and all of those.

One million speakers in the world and NOBODY here speaks it?(As far as I know.)

Will add more as time comes.

Anyway. it seems hard, sometimes impossible to read but it's easier then English once you master pronouncing it.

Things to know first:

R - Be sure to roll it. If you cant then just do one roll.

DD - Sounds like V

LL - Sounds like SH only with more air coming out of your mouth. When your tongue is at the top of your mouth let air come out the sides of your tongue.

CH - Sounds like when horking. Somewhat... Like HHH and K at the same time.

W - Pronounced OO

U - Sounds like EE but sometimes isn't. I still haven't gotten that good yet.

Y - Sounds like the I in FIN

Ae - Sounds like I as in Mine

Si - SHHH

If you read all a lot then you would figure out some of the words from similar sentences. example: "Beth" is "What" as it's used in several sentences here. "Allwch chi(ashoo - khi)" means "Can you" And how "I'm, I am" are both "Dw i'n(doo - in)"
