How to make skins in minecraft!

I'm sure many of you wondered how can I make my own minecraft skin?

Well today I will show you how!

First of all, were going to need the program to make skins which is called skinedit. Go to the following link and download the latest release: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=4843 (you can also find templates for reskinning monsters)

Once that is downloaded, we will have to install it! Open the Winrar file and run the MCskinedit.jar file. The first time you run it it will greet you with a window, then prompt you to select a link for the ''previewer''. There should already be a link, so just click ''ok''. If there isn't a link, copy paste this: http://gf.web44.net/skinedit/skintest2.jar

Once it's open you should see in the corner your previewer, in the middle the name of various body parts, in the bottom a bunch of colors, and at the top tools. Now, the rest is pretty simple, you just have to draw and create your skin! Simply select a color and draw in the desired areas.

But, you want to save your work, don't you? Click file, the save as and choose where you want to save your skin (make sure to name it!).
