Really? They often have more deals and sales than steam.

They had a 4'th of July thing where they gave everyone of their subscribers a promo code that's good for ANY game available in their store.

Me and a friend basically got FEAR 3 for 10$. The full game is added to your account, so even if I canceled my subscription, you can still play it at any time.

The subscription isn't really to use their service, but to get access to ~60 games that they were able to get licenses for.

I also bought Amnesia during their version of the steam summer sale (Indie-pendence sale they called it), for only 5$. Was cheaper than steams AND I don't even have to be able to run it to play it.
