This is what we call marathoning a series. It's fairly common when watching a good anime series.

ugh..

How was it lame?

The finale WAS pretty lame.

The show did have a lot of serious undertones, which is why I really liked it, but the ending seemed too much like a childrens tv show :V

Did you know they're making a new Avatar? it's called, The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra

Here is a description from Avatarwiki.com*

The new series will take place 70 years after the end of the Avatar: The Last Airbender story arc, with all-new characters and settings. The protagonist of the new series, Korra, the next Avatar after Aang, is a hot-headed and rebellious young woman from the Southern Water Tribe who is "ready to take on the world". The series plans to follow Korra as she faces an anti-bender revolt while mastering the art of Airbending from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin.

It isn't going to be released until mid of 2012, so we have to wait awhile T-T

but I love Avatar, call me as you may.

Fucking avatar was awesome. Not the movie but the anime series. I really like the developing plots and interesting charachters. I've never seen the finale though, if someone can send it to me it would be great. Looking forward to the new avatar!

Thank you Marie for the sprite.

Yeah uh

That's because it WAS a children's TV show

It aired on nickelodeon.

It would have been alot more amazing had the writers not had the restrictions of making it appropriate for eight-year-olds, but it was good nonetheless.

The show seemed more like 12+.
I dont think an 8 year old would understand the humour.

Every show aimed at kids has adult humor mixed in, it's so that the adults forced to watch it with their kids don't get bored.
