Guess i should clear this up for ppl who don't kno  :P (Killjoy :trollface:)
and if you are all secretly implying that you all know what it is better than me, just give me a tub and I'll drown myself

Rainmeter gives you things similar to the widgets already incorporated into Vista and 7, but with more awesomeness. (customization/freedom)
You just download the software and get addons downloaded from other websites. It's like the mothership and the addons are like the drones.
I haven't played around with it for too long so I won't be showing mine >:D, but that's pretty much the main idea.
