...What?
Refereeing an actual game? Being paid?
I somehow doubt that lol :L.

When we first started out, we did little kid games, and we would have 2 referee's instead of 1, do help lessen the pressure.
I still referee to this day, doing center's for women's games and ar'ing for men 35+

Anyways, that's the truth, doesn't really bother me if you believe it or not.

well it terms of legal issues of course not.
Like there would be no check FROM  an actual company he would be receiving.
It's just a little job here and there that he would get paid for when he does.

Like let's say, I take everybodys dogs out for a walk in my neighborhood when I was 11 and got paid by each person. It may be in a form of check (their payment) or cash.

I think it's called "working under the table" where you don't need a social security or filling out a job application or going through drug tests and legal issues to obtain a job.

A mini job per se.

Like his job is to be a referee of a children's soccer game probably sponsored by a school or something. Yeah his name would be under the schools files having a little note off the side of his student record saying that he works (and gets paid) for a school sponsored activity.

It's not really under the table.
I've had to pay the IRS Taxes because I've made more than $600 in a year.
I'm not sure how the whole thing works out, but when I first started out, after maybe a year, I got a lisnse proving I was an official referee for. USSF
