Laptop overclocking software.

No, I'm not THAT stupid.

I'm looking for a software-based overclocking program so I can UNDERCLOCK it.

Reason being, I find an hour-and-a-half battery life slightly annoying while on four hour trips.

I've done plenty with windows already, like a power-saver mode that tells windows to only use 20% of the CPU Max, but that only increased battery life by about half an hour. I was hoping that maybe lowering the voltage and slowing down the ram would increase the battery life, even if it's a little.

I've tried CPUFSB, but it doesn't have my model no.
I have SetFSB, but I can't find out how to get my clock generator ID thingy :L
On my server box, I OC'd it through the BIOS, but stupid laptop bios is all gui and doesn't let me edit anything aside from the time.

I won't really be doing much while in this power saver mode, aside from watching movies or browsing the internet.

Any halp?

How many cores does it have?

If it has more than one, you can write a script to run a program on another core to save memory and power.
E.G. (script I wrote) c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 2 C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\WorldOfTanks.exe
Switch everything past the 2 with the location of the program you want to run.
DO NOT USE THIS SCRIPT ON A SINGLE OR QUAD CORE! It is only for dual core on a 32-bit system.

If you have a single core, there is always power saver mode and you can reduce the brightness.

He has an i5

I've seen this video and I think it works...

Oh holy crap, that actually worked. I'm running at a 40% underclock now.

You just gave me an extra two hours of battery life ._.

Fucking Thanks c:
