Why is this forum suddenly everyone's twitter? People talking about their nasty foot conditions, or their unhappy falling out with some dude they played minecraft with. Or people posting asking someone to change their name (when that could have been done simply in a pm). Or what about threads that bring up something not even worth a quarter of a thread (oh wowiee powiee someone has really low respect). What in the fuck?

Please just take a moment to look at all of these threads. The ones with really weak content end up just spam filled garbage bins of banter and stupidity. The others-- well, sometimes its just fucking gross or just not really something to have a conversation about. Go back 50 pages and you will see what real content is: Its actual interesting topics that spawn discussion and intrigue.

I think what he is suggesting that we need a higher lvl of conversation to replace the unnecessary ones.. I do agree that like 8/10 topics, I just completely ignore because they are not worthy of even being read.

well you can't expect much in a forum when a good 85-90% of the members are/under the age of 13. i don't expect to be seeing any kind of political debates in this board.

Without all these threads we would have fewer threads with better content and more discussion.

Just becuase theres less of something doesn't mean theres going to be more of the other infact i would bet the forums would die if people couldn't post there stupid shit. (not trying to insult poeple on the posts Sanders mentions above, more on the line of all the stupid youtube videos which is a good 75% of the boards these days")

would it be nice to see some good debates going on? Yes it would but lets face it you're expecting to much when you come here. even when a good debate comes into play someone ends up trolling or resorts to insulting the other person because of their opinions on the subject at hand which IMHO stops people from even wanting to have a serious discussion anymore.

The use of posting and disussing will always lead to personal information being expressed in a post. so yes we are becoming twitter or facebook, because this happens in every forum and you just need to notify the people who are giving out their personal info to shut up

You have some good points... I want good discussions. I think we really need to stop messing with each other based on our positions and ideas. I am tired of seeing ppl flamed for such little things as reposting some video or something. I just want a nice loving world, well at least close as possible. I would love to not have to censor myself for fear of someone being "What, you're and atheist?? Lets get his ip and ddos him!!!" Stupid shit like that. Maybe me and you be crusaders for awesomeness!

@Mr. Franklin- Troll post is no help. If we didn't share some personal info it wouldn't be a community at all. We would all be a bunch of bots in a virtual pingas.

the question is what would you prefer to discuss? over hearing things when i pass through your channels in teamspeak would generally be about anime, porn and things like masterbating together or what not

but thats just from my experience hearing things when i pass through, some people find that disgusting...

its all a matter of opinion, if you prefer to discuss what some people post... like about their foot problems then discuss it

its a discussion board which means its open to anything that you can discuss...

i do agree there are some threads that have some stupid ass shit and end up being trolled but for once im gonna agree with shawn and say that there a shitton of lil kids here... so whata u expect?

Yeah I guess there are a shit ton of little kids, but that doesn't mean the rest of us who like the topic can't just ignore troll posts and move on instead of retorting with another.

Just because we circle jerk when you come in Moo doesn't mean anything. You just catch us at the wrong time. But besides from that our ts3 convos are the way they are because we have grown CLOSER..... really close......

Sure it is open to whoever, but do we really need thread about people complaining about their respect being low or what not. Im not trying to open up the gates of hell or anything, but there is a ton of trolling here -- making good discussion difficult. I'll just keep in my sections and whatever, but it just doesnt seem valuable to the community to have unmoderated banter. (whereas normal discussion is)

if i remember correctly last time one of the GM's did moderate  the users all got pissy because the person was "too strict" because he deleted tons of spam topics.
