why can't i get that damn program to make a room

EDIT: And i have 3 years of working with autodesk programs. This is BS

I have 2 years of revit and 2 years of inventer under my belt but I can't do shit in hammer despite sanders showing me some stuff.

we used revit for a little bit, that is until our trial software ran out.
broke ass schools.

Also, this doesn't go here, but its not important enough for a new thread so
