Learning new language, which should I choose?

Russian is good if you like vodka, or want to talk to Russian children.

French is more of a complex language than German for English native speakers. Few basic words in the German language are similar or exact to English. Hence I know German, Spanish, Dutch(Mostly), Russian(Mostly) some Japanese, some Italian, and some Danish, I would say German was the easiest to learn and understand.
