Anyone good with graphics?

I have been wanting to start on some project having to do with graphic design, but I really have no idea what to do/where to start.
So, are any of you good with graphic design? (photoshop)
If any of you have some tutorial I could use, that would be great.
(I don't necessarily mean video tutorials, I actually find the text ones better usually.)

Depends on what kind of graphic design you need/want to do. Signatures, banners, all that. I'm fairly good but I wont call my self the best. Here's a website for all different tutorials. You can use these effects in other things.

http://www.sigtutorials.com/

I'd just start with a blank canvas to get started, think of some ideas, renders you want then grow off of that.

Thanks, I'll try that out.
And sorry I didn't really explain what I'm trying to do, but it's kind of stuff like this that I want to do:
http://photoshoptutorials.ws/photoshop-tutorials/photo-manipulation/how-to-create-an-abstract-photo-manipulation.html
And just kind of abstract designs, not necessarily anything to do with editing a photo like that, or drawing anything specific really.
