I have Minecraft Beta 1.5_01
When i click multiplayer and then i put the ip there, i click connect, wait about 5 seconds and it tell me that Connection shit problem.

Is it possible to port forward minecraft? I think I need to cause I get like java disconnection errors and much lag...

I know you can portfoward 25565 for servers but I don't think you need to do that for the game...

I just don't get it... I live in US and the server is in like Kansas which is like a  few hundred miles away only...

It's not the server, something is wrong at your end.
