Disable hlss/hldj scripts?
Cable:
I've been on servers before where using hlss and hldj didn't work. Do you think this could be implemented on the servers? Or atleast the TTT server. I know "Just mute them" But i don't want to mute the person and start talking over them all the time not knowing so. Suggestions or ideas?

TBH It seems to me that the server has something that let's it work. rNd is the only server I can get hldj to work on -_-
Deathie:
sv_allow_voice_From_file [0/1]
By default, it's 0, which disables HLSS or HLDJ.
RND has it set to 1.
Basically, it'd be a simple thing of changing it in the server CFG's from 1 to 0, so theres nothing really to implement.
I agree it would be nice if it was disabled on TTT, but other servers, leave it.

If someone wants to talk to you over mic, then they shouldn't have mic spammed in the first place.

This is an interesting subject.
On one hand, it is annoying when you try to talk, and you have 2 people trying to play music and 2 people talking at once - between being heard and how loud / annoying all those combined sounds, well, sound. Last night in ZS I remember 3 people trying to play music, 2 people chatting by voice simultaneously [5 sources of sound at once + game sounds == headache]. OTOH sometimes music can be a good thing - depending on the song chosen can even enhance the mood [I know when I have some Rammstein playing in Winamp the adrenaline rush keeps me going during those late night games], hell, sometimes you will be playing with a group of people who WANTS to hear music - in which case, theoretically, muting that player is an option... dunno where to stand personally though I am finding myself in agreement moreso with Snivy and DoeniDon's opinions.
