OK I know I am not the only one who gets mad at this map. There is a HUGE imbalance on this map, in favor of humans. Firstly, 90% of the time the original chosen zombies will ragequit. Secondly, there is infinite ammo for both pistols and smgs in both the first floor and the roof of the map. Tertiarily (think i spelled that wrong but who cares) there are 3 regen health wall thingys and a scattering of health packs on the roof. This makes it impossible for the zombies to do any damage to the humans without them running off and getting health back.

With all these things there is one common scenario that comes up on this map. Everyone leaves, and one person is chosen to be a zombie. They rage, new person is chosen until someone decides to stay. When they stay, they are spawn camped and caded horribly, and killed with the humans supply of infinite ammo for both pistols and smgs. If, by some lucky fluke, they manage to hit a human or bring one down to red, they just run off and heal. This is bullshit and isnt really fun for anyone, especially the zombie.

My last point is that this map is commonly chosen due to this imbalance. Because it is a map that comes up often, it needs to be taken down and not just ignored as there are always those kids who enjoy sitting there and just fucking zombies without playing a game with any semblence of fairness or difficulty. This map is old, but I feel that now more than ever it has to be removed.

I know this was a kind of long post, but I do hope you read it and understand my reasons for wanting this map gone.

many memories on this map, all as a zombie.

perhaps we can commission a remake...

I second this. What arcoyle said is 100% true. Arcoyle you left out one con: The maps crashes 3/4 of the time when played with large amount of players.
Which we experienced a few hours ago.

The only bad thing abut the map is the spawn camping...

I don't think the map should be removed... we should make something to stop the spawn camp.

But... someone alredy asked for it and failed :-(

Nah. From when I used to play, people used to last up to around round 7.

It's incredibly easy to get a redemption though (Only map where I was able to get a redemption more than once), just go fast zombie and trap someone in the corner near HP station or ammo. They end up being too stupid and try to heal themselves instead of shoot, or need to reload.

I think a remake could be ok, something like a teleporter in zs_abstraction, where the humans cant enter the zombiespawn. Just something like that.

Yeah, its really easy to get kills at both sides.
Normally the humans throw down props at the second entrance, normally you could use ur chance there as a wraith and going then to a health machine. And ZAP, human died.

So, they should really edit or remove the map. Better secret placed ammoboxes, less health machines.
Things like that.

If that is done, it should be, IMO, in such a way that makes THIS much harder to do:

Ummm... u know zs_ascent. Theres an pusher, what pushes away anything, such things could be added in the map. Just beeing creative could help a lot.

he agrees about whatever you guys are saying about this map but I gotta admit, it was his very very first map made on sdk.
