Did you check the events log?
You could've accidentally pushed someone or something. Idk tho.

To me it seems like it doesn't detect what team you're on sometimes...

Same thing happened with me, no c4, an I was only one. I'm not sure if there's currently a glitch in the servers, I would doubt it though.

There have always been bugs like this in the karma system.
It's probably something within the gamemode rather than something that can be fixed easily.

One of my stupid traitor buddies was blown up by my c4 but I didn't lose any karma.

Yeah I experience this the other, I fell near my T buddies C4 and expected him to lose karma.
He didn't.
