coolzeldad:
nahh has nothin to do with service provider or anything

go into cmd and ping 127.0.0.1

It's the network interface on your machine which accepts and responds to requests from that machine only.

Has nothing to do with Country... its a simple loop back address

My school, Home, and server internetz all start with 192.168.x.xxx, but they're also all hosted by AT&T.

thats the internal ip which mine isn't 127 its also 192 but the 127 is the localhost loop back address, 127.0.0.1 should also work for you and the OP

192.168.*.1 is british routerz

Not talking about routers, Snivy said something about it being Shawns Canadian router..

Shawn was not talking about the router's address.. like both him and myself pointed out.

Just making sure people know the difference between the loopback address, router address, and similar result from the use of both of those in this situation.
