Death's Various Sound Samples (V0.1)

These samples/loops appeared on various video game and movie soundtracks, though they were not created by their composers nor are they property of said corporations. These files are royalty free loops from various sample libraries. The sample libraries from which these samples/loops were taken all pre-date the release of their respectful movies and games in which they were used in.***

Now that we got THAT out of the way,
I thought I'd make a collection of various sound samples I've collected over time. These samples vary from short tunes, or beats, to movie-grade sound effects.

Why am I releasing this? I thought it'd be nice to provide some sort of content for mappers, lua coders, or even other people in sound design. Maybe you want a chime for your gamemode, or maybe you need some horror effects for your map. These have been pre-converted to 44100HZ Wave files compatible with the source engine.

A lot of these sounds, you'll recognize from other video game series, such as: Silent Hill, Penumbra, and Condemned. These have also been used in movies and TV Shows, varying from intense actions to slow paced horrors.

The Archive is decided into folders, each folder gives a general idea of what's inside.

Some files in the folder you may recognize:

The tune that plays at the beginning of "Room of Angel (Silent Hill 4 OST)

Sound that plays when you die in Zombie Survival.

/sound effects/horror/_impendomic.wav
Used when traveling to the OtherWorld in Silent Hill 3.


Version 0.1 Is just to see what kind of feedback a project like this will receive.
